Abdominal fat removal with laser lipolysis
The abdomen is the most treated area in body aesthetic medicine. Localised abdominal fat — including the flanks — responds well to laser lipolysis, which allows the abdominal contour to be sculpted with precision, stubborn fat to be extracted and the skin to be tightened simultaneously.
This is not a weight loss treatment. Laser lipolysis is designed for patients with a stable weight who have localised fat deposits that do not respond to diet or exercise, or who want to refine their contour after weight loss.

The procedure
Performed under tumescent local anaesthesia. Through small incisions a laser fibre optic is introduced that emits energy directly on the fat tissue. The fat liquefies and can be aspirated or eliminated naturally. Simultaneously the laser tightens the skin, minimising the risk of post-treatment laxity.
A complete session — abdomen and flanks — lasts 2-3 hours. The patient remains conscious and comfortable throughout. No hospital stay required.
Results and recovery
Volume reduction is visible within the first weeks. The final result is appreciated at 3 months. Recovery involves wearing a compression garment for 2-4 weeks and avoiding intense exercise for the first 10-15 days.
